TIFFANY LAITOLA

Tiffany Laitola is a department chair at Purdue University Global with a proven track record in academic leadership and curriculum development. Her extensive experience spans diverse educational settings, including U.S. military environments, with expertise in cybersecurity, IT, leadership, management and personal development.

 

As a department chair, Tiffany manages a team of diverse faculty members, orchestrating top-notch education across multiple disciplines. She is an advisor to the Dean and Associate Dean on matters that focus on faculty development, curriculum innovation, and strategic program decisions, ensuring alignment with university and school goals and evolving educational standards.

 

Prior to her current role as Department Chair, Tiffany served 30 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer in 2023 where she demonstrated technical acumen in cryptologic communications, cybersecurity/IT and expertise in training/education.  Over her 30-year span in the military, she filled roles such as: Training Officer, Information Assurance Manager, Department Leading Chief, Senior Enlisted Advisor, and Lead Faculty Advisor, which all contributed to her enjoyment and enthusiasm for blending cybersecurity/IT with her love of education and training.

 

Tiffany holds an Education Specialist Degree (EdSD) in Learning, Instruction, and Innovation, a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology Management (MSITM) with a focus in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, and a BSITM.  Her certifications include: CMMC Certified Professional (CCP), CMMC Provisional Instructor (PI), Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, ITIL Foundations, and Post-secondary Instructor.
